Days 1-2: Depart from western Sichuan and advance to the plateau

Day 1 | Chengdu → Tianquan (about 180km)
Officially starting from Chengdu, start the Sichuan-Tibet motorcycle self-driving trip, drive along the mountain roads in western Sichuan, feel the gradient of landforms from plains to mountains, appreciate the green mountains, green waters and pastoral scenery along the way, easily start the prelude to the plateau, and stay overnight in Tianquan Sichuan-Tibet Chamayi B&B or the same level, rest and adapt.
Day 2 | Tianquan → Yajiang (about 295km)
Pass through the Erlangshan Tunnel, the gateway to Sichuan and Tibet, cross the Zheduo Mountains, the first pass of Kham, and officially enter the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; along the way, you pass the "Photography Paradise" Xindu Bridge and have a panoramic view of the poetic picture composed of grasslands, streams, and Tibetan residences, and the cycling experience is getting better and better. Days 3-4: The secret place at the junction of Genie and Sichuan and Tibet

Drive into the core of this itinerary - the secret place of the southern Genie route, and rush all the way to the sacred mountain of Genie. Along the way, you can see the majestic snow peaks, vast plateau pastures and quaint and primitive Tibetan villages. The scenery is pure and shocking, with few people and beautiful scenery, and you can deeply experience the original ecological nature of western Sichuan. Day 4 | Genie → Batang (about 180km)
Say goodbye to the Genie Mountain and continue westward along the Plateau Canyon Highway, shuttling between Tibetan villages and snow-capped mountains and meadows. Cycling smoothly all the way, you will arrive at Batang, an important town on the junction of Sichuan and Tibet, and feel the unique style of the intersection of Sichuan and Tibet. Days 5-6: Travel into Tibet and live by the lake
Day 5 | Batang → Zuogong (about 240km)
Cross the Jinsha River Bridge and officially enter Tibet, completing the important ceremony of the border between Sichuan and Tibet; then cross the famous Dongda Mountain Pass on the Sichuan-Tibet Line to experience the thrill of classic Sichuan-Tibet cycling. Day 6 | Zuogong → Ranwu Lake (about 290km)

Days 7-8: Lhasa, the holy city of Nyingchi, Jiangnan
